Criminal Minds Jason Gideon- Mandy Patinkin

Mandy Patikin is mostly known for his role as BAU profiler Jason Gideon. Gideon is one of the best profiler's on the BAU team simply because he see's things other don't. He was able to help Morgan and Reid with the nightmares they were suffering from previous cases. He was known to have a very close relationship with Reid, having hand-picked him from the Academy for his team, helping him through many difficulties including his implied drug use. Gideon began to lose his confidence in his profiling skills after killer Frank Breitkopf murdered his girlfriend, Sarah Jacobs. During his final case in Arizona, he further lost faith in his abilities when his decision to release the unsub resulted in the deaths of both the unsub and a young woman.

Criminal Minds Elle Greenaway- Lola Glaudini

In the series Lola Glaudini portrays the feisty, hard head FBI Supervisory Special Agent Elle Greenaway! She was last seen in the episode "The Boogeyman" when she handed in her badge and gun to the cheif and resigned. Her reason for leaving? the guilt of shooting an alleged rapist in cold blood. Claiming that he had drawn a gun on her first, Greenaway was ruled by local authorities to have acted in self-defense, although her BAU colleagues clearly thought otherwise. The moment that had us all on the edge of our seat with greenaway would have to be when she was shot at the conclusion of the episode "The Fisher King." Upon her resignation she was replace by Emily Prentiss who is portrayed by Paget Brewster.

Criminal Minds Emily Prentiss- Paget Brewster

Paget Brewster was known as the beautiful and feisty Emily Prentiss. Paget's first appearance was made in season 2 episode 9 entitled "The Last Word" replacing character Elle Greenaway who quit! Prentiss was born to an unnamed father and her mother Elizabeth who was a US Ambassador. Her appearance surprised both SSA Hotchner and Gideon, as neither supervisor had signed off on the transfer. Hotchner was immediately suspicious of the new agent, but Prentiss, insisting that her mother had not pulled any strings for her to get the assignment, convinced him to let her join the team on a probationary basis, and eventually proved her competence and gained the team's trust. Prentiss immediately bonds with Agent Morgan due to their mutual love of Kurt Vonnegut books and they develop a close relationship. Morgan is also with Prentiss, holding her, when she is dying, dying after she is seriously injured by Doyle, and tells her that he understands what she did, and that she is brave, and he is proud of her. When he believes she has died, Morgan takes her death quite hard and expresses anger toward Doyle.

Criminal Minds Jennifer (JJ) Jareau- AJ Cook

 

AJ Cook portrays FBI BAU Supervisory Special Agent Jennifer (JJ) Jareau. Jennifer acted as the team's liaison with the media and local police agencies. Though talented and helpful, she was not considered a profiler like the other characters, actually declining Unit Chief's suggestion to take the classes. However, she does accompany the team on raids, and is proficient with firearms. This is made clear when she resolved a hostage situation inside the BAU by killing the hostage-taker, Jason Clark Battle, with a single shot (Battle is a serial perpetrator of hero homicide, who lured the teams Technical Analyst onto a date, and then shot her, in an attempt to keep his crimes from being discovered) In the series JJ is married to William LaMontagne, Jr. and has one son named Henry LaMontagne.

Criminal Minds Derek Morgan- Shemar Moore

Shemar Moore is known for his sexy role as FBI agent Derek Morgan. Derek specializes in the fixations and obsessive behaviors of the unsubs. Morgan's offical job title's are FBI BAU Acting Unit Chief and Supervisory Special Agent. Morgan deals with numerous demons from his past during the show but the most memorable is witnessing his father's murder as a young child! Morgan's biggest grudge was against the unsub George Foyet (The Boston Reaper). After Morgan was knocked out by Foyet in early 2009, Foyet stole Morgan's FBI credentials. He then used the credentials while dropping off a severely injured FBI agent in the Emergency Room after attacking and nearly killing him!

Criminal Minds Spencer Reid- Matthew Gray Gubler

Matthew Gray Gubler is known as the famous know it all Dr. Spencer Reid. Matthew stared in 186 episodes from 2005 until current. The show is currently in season 9. Matthew's very first appearance was the episode entitled "Extreme Aggressor." Spencer is a genius with an IQ of 187 and can read 20,000 words per minute due to an eidetic memory! Dr. Reid specializes in statistics and geographic profiling. Spencer was also kidnapped by serial killer Tobias Hankel!
